Tapanaris.com, LLC was founded in  Atlanta in 1999. As I am a strange combination of mystic hedonistic hermit and world traveler, having a mail order business had been a lifelong dream.

My son, Brandon is much older now and taller than me  but this is the way I prefer to remember him especially since according to him, I have not aged or matured in proportion  to his “growing up”. He keeps reminding me that he is a man when he comes over to pick up his  home-baked cookies. I’ll “get it” soon. (smile)

I was born and spent the first 16 years of my life in Jamaica. There I ran barefoot on the beaches, climbed trees and  hiked deep into the forests in the beautiful Blue Mountains. My close knit family has embraced my eccentricity and so its easy to pass  the love  on. Thank you Mom! Thank you Aunt Hazel and Aunt Judy! Thank you Chris!

My hedonistic love of all things  has led me all over the world. From the green hills of Ireland  where the most sumptuous organic bath products are lovingly made to service the most exclusive spas in the world to a shack high up in the Blue Mountains  and Cockpit Country where the world famous coffee and  allspice are collected and dried on huge concrete patios.

In my constant search for “Bliss” I will update the site with my finds so come back regularly as these treasures may be limited…...
